| Welcome Dinner for Minister Counselor and Military Attache of China Embassy | |||

SCFA welcomed Mr Dai Bing, Minister Counselor of China Embassy and Mr Yu Hai Bo, Military Attache, both of whom are newly appointed to the Embassy. A welcome banquet was held at Crystal Jade Restaurant, Ngee Ann City on 8 February 2011.
Other prestigious guests from China Embassy included Cultural Counselor Chen Jiang and wife, Educational Counselor Zhou Jian Ping and Li Yong. SCFA President Prof Phua and Mrs Phua, as well as other SCFA representatives Chung Ting Fai, Ung Gim Sei, Ong Chu Meng, Loh Weng Kee, Ang Teck Sin, Dong Xu, Hoon Tai Meng, Chua Teck Ming and Lee Sze Shyan were also present. |

SCFA invited Mr Xu Kong Rang, the President of China Singapore Friendship Association to visit Singapore from 21 - 26 February 2011. Welcome dinner was held on Monday, 21 February 2011 at Crystal Jade Restaurant, Ngee Ann City.
Representing SCFA in presence were Prof Phua, Rohan Kamis, Ms Koh Sok Kheng, Loh Weng Kee, Ng Swan Meen, Ang Teck Sin, Chua Teck Ming, Dong Xu, etc. |

与会员一年一度的春节联欢晚宴，于2011年3月1日7时正，假Singapore Island Country Club二楼的Brassie & Spoon Function Room（240 Sime Road, S288303）举行。
晚宴共90人出席，宴开8席。中国驻新加坡特命全权大使魏苇伉俪，戴兵伉俪，李铭林伉俪， 龚春森参赞，陈疆参赞以及使馆多位秘书代表都莅临晚宴与会员相聚，特别安排的卡拉OK节目， 使晚宴气氛热闹，宾主间交流更为融洽，晚宴在热闹欢畅气氛中结束。 |

| 2011 Lunar New Year Gala Dinner | |||

SCFA's annual Lunar New Year Feast was held on 1 March 2011 at Singapore Island Country Club.
90 guests attended the gala dinner, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, His Excellency Wei Wei and wife. The Minister Counselor, Mr Dai Bing and wife, the Minister Counselor, Mr Li Ming Lin and wife, Counselor Gong Chun-sen, Counselor Chen Jiang and other staff members from China Embassy also gathered to share the joyous moments with SCFA members. A specially-arranged karaoke session brought the night to a climax and the hype lingered on till the closing of the dinner. |

| To commemorate the 66th Anniversary of the Success of the Anti-Japanese War and the 80th Anniversary of 18 September Incident in 1931, the Embassy of People's Republic of China organized a Film Reception on 18 September 2011 at the Embassy of China. SCFA President, Prof K K Phua and some Youth Wing Members attended the Reception. | |||

| 以汪小澍常务副会长率领的上海友协工作组于2011年11月10日至13日访问新加坡并拜访 新中友好协会。为增进两会的联系与合作，我会于2011年11 月11日（星期五）中午12点 30分假醉花林宴请上海友协工作组,双方探讨合作交流的内容和形式,以及与新加坡乐龄联会 (SAGE)开展交流的可能性和设想。一共有40多名宾客出席这次的午宴。 | |||
| Banquet for Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries | |||
| Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC), led by Vice President Mr Wang Xiaoshu, visited Singapore from 10th to 13th November 2011. With an objective to strengthen cooperation and foster friendship between the two Associations, SCFA hosted a banquet on (Friday) 11 Nov 2011 at 12:30pm at Chui Huay Lim Club. All members were invited to join in. Topics for discussion were possible collaboration on development of programs and activities involving Singapore Action Group of Elders (SAGE). More than 40 people turned up at the banquet. | |||
