中共十九大召开前夕，9月30日（星期六）下午，新中友好协会与醉花林俱乐部联合举办《展望中共十九大》公开讲座，有幸邀请到新加坡国立大学东亚研究所所长郑永年教授主讲。讲座吸引了近300名听众前往。
十九大需要回答中国未来30年发展的诸多关键问题，涉及到重大的政策和人事变化。讲座上，郑永年教授围绕十九大会形成怎样的以习近平为核心的中共新领导层、会推出怎样新的改革政策、会对中国的内政外交产生怎样的重大影响等问题，结合深入研究和细致分析，带领听众一同展望十九大。 新中友协会长、醉花林俱乐部文教主任潘国驹教授主持了讲座。在问答环节中，郑教授与现场听众展开了互动，就新中关系走向、中美关系变化等问题进行深入探讨。 |
| Public Talk - Looking Ahead to the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China |

The 19th CPC National Congress was held from 18th to 24th October in Beijing. On the afternoon of 30th September, SCFA co-organized a public talk focusing on the coming 19th CPC National Congress.
Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of the East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore, shared his perspective and look ahead to the CPC National Congress would be held in Beijing. Prof K K Phua, Chairman of SCFA, hosted the talk. The talk attracted around 300 participants. Some audiences interacted with the speaker during the Q&A session.
