讲座:《核能科技与东盟的核能发展》 由于2月25日主办的"一带一路" 讲座系列第五讲--《一带一路的能源》大获好评，我会于2017年4月29日加场，邀请林浩教授就《核能科技与东盟的核能发展》再度开讲，假华侨中学盛大举行。本次讲座与华侨中学、南洋理工大学高等研究所和华校校友会联合会携手合作，并以英语演讲，旨在面向更为广大的新加坡听众。讲座中，林教授特别介绍了核能科学的基本原理，及其科技应用和科研成果。同时，也涵盖核能源的安全装置、潜在危险，以及优缺点等。而东盟区域个别国家以及新加坡的核能发展现况，则与第五讲内容大致相同。 Public Talk - Nuclear Power Technology & Nuclear Power Development in ASEAN As the "OBOR" Talks Series No. 5 - Energy along One Belt One Road received overwhelming responses, SCFA invited Prof Lim Hock to give another talk in English, themed Nuclear Power Technology & Nuclear Power Development in ASEAN, on 29th April 2017, at Hwa Chong Institution. Other co-organizers included Hwa Chong Institution and Institute of Advanced Studies (NTU). During the Talk, Prof Lim explained the theories of nuclear power technology, and its applications and research achievements, including pros and cons of nuclear power, the safety mechanism and potential dangers. On nuclear power development in ASEAN including Singapore, the content was about the same as the OBOR Talk Series No. 5.
