The famous Xiju Opera performance - A Cup of Fate was successfully held from 10th-12th March 2017, at the China Cultural Centre. The performance was co-organized by SCFA, China Cultural Centre, Chinese Opera Institute and Nanyang Music Company, and presented by the Zhangjiagang City Xiju Art Center. The performance was also funded by the China National Arts Fund 2016.
At its Singapore debut on 10th March, attracted more than 200 audiences, including some important guests such as the Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, Mr Fang Xinwen, Cultural Counsellor, Mr Xiao Jianghua, Science and Technology Counsellor, Mdm Wang Rongfang; SCFA President Prof Phua Kok Khoo, Honorary Secretary Mr Ng Yan Huay, Honorary Treasurer Mr Ng Swan Meen, committee member Mr Chew Sin Hwa.
