中国东盟民间友好大会第一次领袖会议
中国东盟民间友好大会首届领袖会议于2016年11月21-25日，于北京顺利召开。本次会议由中国东盟协会发起，邀请了东盟各国友好成员国负责人会晤北京。会议主题为"继承传统，面向未来--开始中国-东盟10＋1民间合作机制新纪元"，就如何完善"中国-东盟民间友好大会"机制，以及明年将在柬埔寨召开的第十一届大会进行讨论，并通过了《会晤谅解备忘录》。

中国东盟协会会长顾秀莲、中国人民对外友好协会副会长林怡、中国人民对外友好协会亚非部主任栾宇滔出席了会议。会议期间，代表团也考察了合肥经济技术开发区，参观企业。我会外事组罗荣基主任和王守志副主任代表我会参加了本次会议。

The 1st Leaders' Meeting between ASEAN-China People-to-People Friendship
The 1st Leaders' Meeting between ASEAN-China People-to-People Friendship was successfully held in Beijing, from 21st to 25th November 2016. The Meeting was initiated by the China-ASEAN Association, and invited representatives of the friendship organizations from ASEAN countries. The Meeting themed "Inherit from the Past and Look into the Future: Set out again on the ASEAN-China 10+1 PTP Mechanism", focused on the improvement of the 10+1 PTP Mechanism and the preparation for the 11th Conference on ASEAN-China People-to-People Friendship to be held in Cambodia next year. A MOU was signed during the Meeting.

The delegation also visited Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area. Mr Loh Weng Kee and Mr Wang Shouzhi (Head and Deputy Head of External Relations & Social Activities Group) attended the Meeting on behalf of SCFA.
