The Book Sharing Session on the Chinese Edition of Mr George Yeo's Selected Speeches and Writings was successfully held on 9th October 2016, at Chui Huay Lim Club. SCFA was one of the co-organizers. The speakers invited were Prof Yang Jian Wei (Adjunct Professor of Nanyang Technological University), Mr Chua Yoke Lim (freelance writer and political commentator), and SCFA Committee member Mr Ang Teck Sin while the Chair was the former Deputy Director of Lianhe Zaobao, Mr Giam Meng Tuck.
The speakers shared their thoughts with the audiences on various topics, such as the Singapore Model, Singapore-China relations, democracy and administration in Singapore, and so on. The Session attracted more than 200 participants, including SCFA President Prof Phua Kok Khoo, Honorary Secretary Mr Ng Yan Huay, committee members Mr Loh Weng Kee and Mr Chua Teck Ming.
