On 5th July 2016, Tuesday, the Ee Hoe Hean Club, Institute of Advanced Studies of Nanyang Technological University, SCFA and Singapore China Business Association co-organized a talk themed "One Belt One Road: Opportunities and Challenges facing Asian Higher Education" at Ee Hoe Hean Club. Prof explained that the "One Belt One Road", which links up 3 of the most populous areas - the East Asia, South Asia and Europe, is a vicious strategy framework that draws across the Eurasian Plate, in structuring a "Super Continent". Under the framework, China has to learn more about the many countries involved in it, especially India, another big country in Asia. In this case, the higher education plays an important role, to promote deeper exchange and understanding among the countries. It will become a platform to evoke the "Neo-Renaissance" era, which the higher education is highly popularized, to connect the East and the West, contributing to the advancement of civilization. The Talk was well received, attracted more than 250 audiences.
