由新加坡中国友好协会、中国驻新加坡大使馆和新加坡国立大学校友事务办公厅联合举办的"首届中国电影周"即将于2012年11月17日至22日在国大邵氏基金校友会大厦隆重举行。

我们非常荣幸邀请到中国驻新加坡特命全权大使魏苇阁下和新加坡国立大学校长陈祝全教授及副校长陈永才教授莅临出席并担任本届电影周开幕仪式的主宾。 同时， 各国驻新加坡的一些大使也受邀出席开幕式。

国大校友事务办公厅已经向其校友会成员发出了正式邀请，从目前反馈的情况来看，报名情况非常热烈， 截至今日每场电影的报名人数如下：

本届电影周礼堂配有与一流电影院完全相同的先进电影放映设备。在影片播映之前，也会放映20分钟左右关于中国文化和历史的纪录片。 由于礼堂每场只可容纳300人左右， 名额有限，入场免费，新中友协会员的报名将会被优先考虑，有兴趣的会员请尽快报名， 先到先得。

We are pleased to announce that the "Inaugural China Film Week" will be held at the NUS Shaw Foundation Alumni House from 17 to 22 November 2012. This Film Week is jointly organized by the Singapore-China Friendship Association, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Singapore and the NUS Office of Alumni Relations. Detail as follows:

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Singapore His Excellency Wei Wei, NUS President Prof Tan Chorh Chuan, and Deputy President (Academic Affairs) and Provost Prof Tan Eng Chye have accepted our invitation to attend the opening ceremony as Guest-of-Honor. Some ambassadors of others countries in Singapore will also grace the event.

The auditorium at the NUS Shaw Foundation Alumni House is as well-equipped as a first-class cinema. Prior to the commencement of each film, a 20-minute documentary on Chinese culture and history will be screened. Admission is free, but as the auditorium has very limited seats, only around 300, priorities would be given to our SCFA members. Interested members please register early, it is on first-come-first-served basis. \
