2009年1月17日，由新加坡国立大学东亚研究所及新加坡中国商会主办，新中友好会及陈嘉庚国际学会联办的"邓小平访问新加坡三十周年纪念讲座"在中华总商会嘉庚谈举行。此次讲座请来了本地及中国多位著名的学者，包括新加坡国立大学东亚研究所所长郑永年教授、北京大学中国与世界研究中心主任潘维教授、深圳大学当代中国研究所所长黄卫平教授、深圳大学新加坡研究中心主任吕元礼教授。几位学者从不同角度阐述了中国与新加坡发展模式的异同以及中国发展如何借鉴新加坡经验。讲座主席为新加坡中国商会会长兼南洋理工大学高等研究所所长潘国驹教授，人民行动党执行理事及前国会议员刘炳森先生。
Deng Xiaoping's Visit to Singapore 30th Aniversary Memorial Seminar was held on 17 Jan 2009 at Kah Kee Hall, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry. This seminar was organized by East Asia Institute, NUS, Singapore China Business Association ,co-organized by Singapore China Friendship Association and TKK International Society. Four famous scholars from Singapore and China presented the topics on the comparison of the development model between China and Singapore and how China can learn from Singapore. The scholars including Prof Zheng Yongnian, Director of East Asia Institute; Prof Pan Wei, Director of Center for Chinese and Global Affairs, Peking University; Prof Huang Weiping, Director of Contemporary Chinese Politics Research Institue, Shenzhen University; Prof Lv Yuanli, Director of Research Center on Singapore Studies. Prof Phua Kok Khoo, President of Singapore China Business Association and Director of Institute of Advanced Studies, NTU, Mr Lau Ping Sum, Executive Director of PAP and Former Member of Parliament were the chairmen of the seminar. |
